After 10 years of ownership, I have finally upgraded my wheels. I needed a new set of tires, so this was the time to move away from the stockers to something taller and wider, and much nicer looking. I got a set of Enkei RP03 wheels from Vividracing.com. Since I purchased tires with them as well, they gave me a nice discount on the wheels and the tires. They mounted the tires, balanced them, and then shipped the set out to me. They included the center caps as well. Sizes: Wheels - Fr 18 x 8.5 +30mm offset Rr 18 x 9.5 +38mm offset Tires- Fr 235/40r18 Rr 265/35r18 Wheel sizes selected to avoid rubbing on suspension components and fenders (front and rear) while trying to get wider wheels up front and in the rear. I'm really happy with the fitment, and am happy to report no rubbing after a long shake down drive yesterday. Tire sizes selected to fit the wheels properly and to get the closest overall diameter to stock to maintain accurate speedometer readings. The RP03's are a relatively light wheel. For the price point (around $350 ish per wheel) they are one of the lighter wheels I found that are a quality wheel, fit well, and look good. These aren't forged wheels. So going up in sizes (both wheels and tires), I expected a little bit of weight increase. Weights of wheels and tire combos: Stock (with old worn Dunlop Sport 9000's) Front: 39.5 lbs Enkei RP03 with new Nitto NTO5 tires Front: 45.0 lbs Stock (with old worn Dunlop Sport 9000's) Rear: 43.0 lbs Enkei RP03 with new Nitto NTO5 tires Front: 46.5 lbs There is an option with these wheels to get the SBC (special brilliant coating) that resembles chrome plating. However, my car is pearl white (KH4) and I personally think a chrome wheel doesn't match up well with this color. Therefore, I went with the silver paint. They look awesome! So here are the pics.

Comments on the tires: These tires look awesome. They are a soft compount meant to grip the road, and they did not disappoint me. I was spinning through 1st and second gears all the time last Fall. This was especially true during colder temps. I took the car out for the first time with my new wheels and tires yesterday, and the Nitto's hooked up very nicely. It was only about 40 to 45 degrees outside, and I still had grip under 16.5 lbs of boost (tires were warmed up). That was the first time I've really been able to enjoy the power through the gears since I got it dyno-tuned last Spring by Greg and Seb. It was a great feeling.
